Hello everyone! Mr. Hand would like to let you all know that starting in January 2012 we are taking a break from performing. We have no definite plans for how long or how short this break will be. Only that after 16 years of playing without any extended breaks, we sure could use it, and need a nice break.

Mr. Hand at Lollapalooza?

With your help it could happen! We’ve entered the Last Band Standing contest that gives you the opportunity to help decide which band gets the chance to play at Lollapalooza in Chicago this summer.
So here’s the deal: we have until June 23rd to rack up as many votes as possible and make the top 100 bands who will advance to the next round for expert panelist judging. Please go to the Mr. Hand band page and vote for us!

Show Report: Rhonda’s Speakeasy

Good times and rock & roll were on tap at Rhonda’s Speakeasy in Sioux City, IA this past weekend. We had a great time as usual and enjoyed seeing everyone who stopped out. We won’t be back to Rhonda’s until August but you can bet we’ll be counting the days!

We played a Graduation Party for our friend Karly last weekend outside of Pierce, NE. They had everything at this party: good food, beer, a Care Bear cooler filled with Schlitz, police, and a rockin good time! Here’s the pictures.
