As is usually the case, the good times flowed at The Depot this past weekend. We had 2 nights with good crowds that were ready to party. But if you’ve ever been to The Depot you know that’s a regular occurrence!

I had a bit of a sad day yesterday. In March of this year I was able to go back to O’Neill, NE for the St. Pats celebration. I was in line awaiting a drink when this younger guy approached me and said what a big fan he was of the band! He gave me a big hug and then started crying.

What started out as a show where we planned to celebrate Bret’s and Conrad’s birthdays, became a birthday party and an impromptu reunion show thanks to Craig suffering an unfortunate injury in the middle of last week!

There’s something about Mr. Hand, a cold autumn night and a stripper pole that brings people out to Jo Jo’s in Pierce, NE. We’d like to think that we’re responsible for everyone coming out party but we know better…it’s the stripper pole!

We took a drive out to Sylvester’s Bar & Lounge in Broken Bow this past Friday. This was only our second time playing there, but we really enjoy making the stop here.

Consider the Ranch Rocked! With the assistance of Street Legal, Paradise City (Guns N’ Roses tribute band), and Battery (Metallica tribute band), we brought the rock to the Off Road Ranch.

We’re a little behind getting this show report posted. After last week learning about the passing of a friend it was hard to think of much else. So we spent last weekend in Norfolk, NE with a show at The Depot on Friday night and then at the Off Road Ranch on Saturday afternoon. Friday at The Depot was another rock and roll party.

One of the great things about being in this band is that we get to meet so many wonderful people. One of those people was Claudia Trujillo. Claudia used to come out to nearly all our shows in Sioux City at Rhonda’s Speakeasy, Icky Nickel, The Patio, etc.

Jessie’s Girl has been a very popular song that we’ve been playing in our shows for quite a few years now. In fact the only person who gets asked to play this song more than us has to be Rick Springfield himself! Even when we happen to skip over it, someone usually is there to remind us to play it!
