Hello everyone! Mr. Hand would like to let you all know that starting in January 2012 we are taking a break from performing. We have no definite plans for how long or how short this break will be. Only that after 16 years of playing without any extended breaks, we sure could use it, and need a nice break.

Show Report: St. Pat’s 2011
Another epic St. Patrick’s celebration was held in O’Neill, NE this year! Thanks to all the partiers who made the trip. Also, a big thank you to Dougherty’s Pub and all their staff. You guys are awesome!
Show Report: The Phoenix Room
The Phoenix Room is another of our favorite stops. Not only is the staff a great group of people but the crowds that show up here are always ready to party. Our last stop at the Phoenix Room was no exception! We were treated to an energetic crowd looking for a good time and some good music. And we were happy to crank it up and rock out!
Show Report: T Henery’s
We enjoyed a great night at T Henery’s located in Omaha’s Old Market back on February 12th. We had friends, family and some rabid hockey fans show up to help us party the night away!
Please welcome a new member to Mr. Hand
That’s right, we’re adding a 4th member to the band! After about 10 years with 3 members we’re happy to welcome Mike Fitzpatrick as the new bass player in Mr. Hand.
Mike has been a friend of the band for several years and actually used to be part of our crew as our lightman. Most recently he’s been playing with one of Omaha’s premier cover bands Desperate Bandwives. Before that he played with D’Vine, Matt’s Rocket Collection, Evertide, and David 14. He also maintains his personal website MadMikeLive.com which covers all of his musical pursuits. Outside of music Mike is an in-demand Attorney. Check out his website – OmahaDefense.com.
Help us welcome Mike to the Mr. Hand rock & roll party!
Show Report: The Depot
A few weeks back we loaded up our gear and made the drive north for 2 fun nights at the Depot in Norfolk, NE. As usual, our old stomping grounds did not disappoint! Both nights were great. Thanks to everyone who came out and thanks to our friends at the Depot for having us.
Show Report: Winside
We had the privilege to play a private party in Winside, NE a few weeks back. It was a great time. Despite the Huskers losing the football game that evening, everybody stayed in the party mood and made the night fun. Thanks to all who put this party on and invited us to be a part of it!
Show Report: Two Fine Irishmen
For our second ever show at Two Fine Irishmen in Omaha, NE Mother Nature decided to play a joke on us. She thought it would be funny to send some freezing rain and the season’s first snowfall. But in the end, the joke was on her! Despite the poor weather, we were treated to a great crowd that was determined to party even if the snowflakes were flying!
It was a great night, and we look forward to doing it again real soon!
Show Report: The Depot
We celebrated Halloween with all our Norfolk friends at The Depot the last weekend of October. We were honored to be joined by President Obama, George Lopez, Keith Stone, Wayne and Garth, and Slash! There were a ton of great costumes and we all agreed that this was the best year for costumes that we’ve seen. So, the pictures include some of the best costumes we saw that night. Enjoy!
Show Report: Gator O’Malley’s
Last night marked our first ever show at Gator O’Malley’s in Omaha, NE. We had a good time getting to know the crew at Gator O’Malley’s and as we continue to play more in the Omaha area, we hope we’ll get more opportunities to rock the joint!
Show Report: Phoenix Room
For some people Saturday night’s alright for fighting. At the Phoenix Room in Norfolk, NE Saturday night’s alright for drinking! And so it was as we rocked for a great crowd and had a great time doing it.
