Hello everyone! Mr. Hand would like to let you all know that starting in January 2012 we are taking a break from performing. We have no definite plans for how long or how short this break will be. Only that after 16 years of playing without any extended breaks, we sure could use it, and need a nice break.

Show Report: Phoenix Room
Gobble Gobble! There were no turkeys at the Phoenix Room this past Wednesday night, only a packed house looking for a good time!
On the night before Thanksgiving we had plenty to be thankful for, but at the top of the list was the great crowd that came out to the Phoenix Room to rock with us. And like we usually do, we had a good time kickin out the jams and sharing some drinks and laughs with everyone. We also want to recognize the staff working the bar that night for making sure no one went thirsty!

Show Report: The Depot
As is usually the case, the good times flowed at The Depot this past weekend. We had 2 nights with good crowds that were ready to party. But if you’ve ever been to The Depot you know that’s a regular occurrence!
It was also a productive weekend for the band as we worked on some new original tunes. We’ve been putting a lot of effort as of late working on writing new songs for an upcoming CD. We don’t have anything set in stone as to when we’ll get that done, but we are looking at having a new CD released sometime in 2010.
With that said, we need to thank everyone that came out to the shows this past weekend as well as the staff at The Depot for making it a great weekend. We’ll be back in Norfolk soon – Nov. 21st at the Mint Bar for a Conrad & Nellor acoustic show and Nov. 25th at the Phoenix Room for a show on the night before Thanksgiving. See ya there!
Show Report: Off Road Ranch
Consider the Ranch Rocked!
With the assistance of Street Legal, Paradise City (Guns N’ Roses tribute band), and Battery (Metallica tribute band), we brought the rock to the Off Road Ranch. It turned out to be a great day to take in some live music and also check out some dare devils grab major air while doing jumps on their 4-wheelers.
From our perspective it was surreal to be rocking out while seeing guys do massive jumps on their quads! Quite a sight to see! We opened the show and had a great time catching up friends from Street Legal as well as many other local musicians before and after our set. It was great to see everyone and we wish we could do these get togethers every weekend!
Big thank you’s to the Off Road Ranch, Ralph Johnson, Brad and Amanda from The Depot for getting us involved with this show. We hope we can do it again next year!
Show Report: The Depot
We’re a little behind getting this show report posted. After last week learning about the passing of a friend it was hard to think of much else.
So we spent last weekend in Norfolk, NE with a show at The Depot on Friday night and then at the Off Road Ranch on Saturday afternoon. Friday at The Depot was another rock and roll party. We were able to debut some new covers on our setlist and also share the stage with some old friends of ours, Street Legal. As is usually the case, there were plenty of familiar faces at the show.
We’ll get the rundown and pictures from the Off Road Ranch show up soon.
Show Report: Phoenix Room
This past weekend at the Phoenix Room in Norfolk must have been a weekend for celebrating. Between the birthday parties, bachelorette parties and the bar’s quest to knock us of our feet with shots…we came away with a memorable couple of nights.
In addition to all of that, we had our friend Chris and his band the Total Package play a few tunes during our set break on Friday. And of course it was great to see so many of our Norfolk friends make it out and party as well!
We’ll be back in Norfolk in a couple of weeks for a night at the Depot on 9-18 and an afternoon slot at the Off Road Ranch on 9-19. Until then, here’s some pictures from this past weekend.
New show added!
Rockin at the Ranch! The Off Road Ranch in Norfolk, NE is hosting a day of rock that includes us, Street Legal, Battery (Metallica tribute band), and Hells Bells (AC/DC tribute band) on September 19th.
We’ll be opening the show at 4:00pm. This show replaces our previously scheduled Saturday night show at The Depot. Come celebrate a great day of rock in Norfolk!

It was a weekend to remember with great crowds at each show and of course a special opportunity to open the Divots concert. Be sure to take a look at the videos from that show.

Show Report: The Depot
Why do we love to play at The Depot in Norfolk, NE? The crowd never disappoints!
We had a great time this past weekend rockin the Depot. It was a little hot and sweaty both nights but the cold drinks took care of that. Thanks to everyone who made it out (even the person who was responsible for the silly string!), we appreciate you spending part of your weekend with us.
We won’t be back to the Depot until the fall, but we will be in Norfolk next Saturday, 6/27 for Divots Summer Outdoor Concert Series where we’ll be kicking off the day of rock and roll at 3pm. It’s gonna be a great day as we’ll share the stage with Heart, Eddie Money, Ivory Star and the Scott Schram Band. Get your tickets and we’ll see you there!
Show Report: 120 Blondes & The Phoenix Room
We had some fun shows the last 2 weekends and plenty of pics to share with ya. On May 2nd we did an opening set for Midtown Method at 120 Blondes in Omaha, NE. It was a good time and we appreciate everyone that made it out to the show. Thanks goes out to the Midtown Method guys who played a good show and shared the stage with us.
This past weekend we played our first show at the new Phoenix Room in Norfolk, NE. It’s a familiar place with a different name as we used to play this bar many years ago when it was known as the L Bar K. Our friend Blake has done a nice job with the place and we look forward to coming back real soon. Thank you to our Norfolk friends who partied with us, here’s some photos.
