Hello everyone! Mr. Hand would like to let you all know that starting in January 2012 we are taking a break from performing. We have no definite plans for how long or how short this break will be. Only that after 16 years of playing without any extended breaks, we sure could use it, and need a nice break.

Show Report: Pender, NE

Posted By Mr. Hand on July 7th, 2010

Another summer, another Q125 party! This year the Q125 celebration took place in Pender, NE and I could have sworn that every person who has ever lived in Pender was there.

We played for their Friday night street dance and had great weather and thanks to a last minute reprieve from the Nebraska Dept. of Roads they were able to have alcohol at the event. All these factors combined to create a great party atmosphere! We were so honored to be there and help celebrate Pender’s history.

Anyone who knows us well knows that Jeff and Bret are from Beemer, which is just down the road from Pender and also has a Q125 celebration coming up next summer. After playing in Bancroft last year for their celebration and now for Pender, both towns have set the bar high and we look forward to see what Beemer will come up with for next year. Heck, maybe we’ll go 3 for 3 and play for another Q125!

Jessie’s Girl video

Posted By Mr. Hand on September 18th, 2009

Jessie’s Girl has been a very popular song that we’ve been playing in our shows for quite a few years now. In fact the only person who gets asked to play this song more than us has to be Rick Springfield himself! Even when we happen to skip over it, someone usually is there to remind us to play it!

So with that in mind we’ve uploaded this video for your viewing pleasure. This video was recorded at a street dance in Bancroft, NE this past summer. Enjoy!

What a perfect Saturday night in Bancroft, NE last weeekend. We were fortunate enough to play for Bancroft’s Q125 Celebration and aside from Craig getting a warning for speeding on his way to Bancroft from Sioux City, the entire night went off without any additional warnings! Congrats to Bancroft for their 125 years and thanks for allowing a couple of guys from Beemer (Conrad & Bret) to help rock the night away.

Not only do we have some pictures, but be sure to check out 3 videos from the show:

It was a weekend to remember with great crowds at each show and of course a special opportunity to open the Divots concert. Be sure to take a look at the videos from that show.

God bless America, Fireworks and Rock & Roll! It was a great night to be an American on July 4th in West Point, NE. A great crowd with many familiar faces was on hand to celebrate West Point’s 150th birthday and party under the stars with Mr. Hand. Mother Nature also chipped in and supplied an absolutely perfect summer night.

Thanks to everyone who came out, we hope to see you at the Roadhouse Lounge in West Point on August 9th!

Show Report: Primrose

Posted By Mr. Hand on June 18th, 2008

We were told it had been something like 15 years since there had been a street dance in Primrose, NE! We’re happy that Mr. Hand could break that seal and bring back some rock and roll to the streets of Primrose. Thanks to the good folks who put on the party and make us feel welcome. We appreciate it and hope to make it back next summer.
